The March release notes introduces new AI-driven insights, improved styling options, and updates to project and data management. Each update is designed to help you work more efficiently, customize your reports, and manage AI access with greater control.
StoryTeller
New projects now use the updated StoryTeller interface by default. Existing projects will move to this interface later.
Report Insight
You can now add Report Insight, a new object that uses AI to analyze report slides and generate written insights directly in your report.
Select which slides to analyze: Current slide, entire report, or individual slides
Choose a prompt: Standard analysis, executive summary or create a custom prompt
The system sends slide screenshots and your prompt to the AI, then displays the results as formatted text.
Key details:
You can analyze up to 50 slides per request.
Use multiple Report Insight objects for larger reports to improve results.
Use the Refresh option to generate a new analysis without changing the slides.
If no changes are detected, the system reuses existing results to save time.
Your data is not shared with other customers or OpenAI
Data is not used to train models
Processing is handled through Microsoft Azure in your region
Research Agent
The Research Agent is now available to both report users and admin users. It helps you analyze slides and generate insights, summaries, and recommendations.
How to enable access:
Turn on AI at the project level
Grant user-level permissions through: The UI, Excel upload/download and User API
Data Management
You can now remove multiple answers at once from the Answer block page.
To delete answers:
Select the answers you want to remove
Click Delete Selected
This helps you manage answer lists faster and reduces repetitive actions.
Project Administration
Disable all AI
You can now disable all AI features at the customer level.
What happens when AI is disabled:
AI features remain visible but won’t function
AI buttons are disabled
Existing AI-generated results remain visible
No new AI analysis can run
This applies to:
Report Insight and Summary objects
Research Agent and Metadata Agent
AI Computes
This setting is managed by the internal team.
