1: About Objects
You can add new charts, tables, text fields, and images to your slide using the Insert new object option.
To access the Insert new object option, either:
Right-click anywhere on the slide to open the context menu:
Use the Insert icon at the bottom of the slide panel:
2: Organising Objects
You can move an object by dragging it from anywhere within the object.
To switch positions between two objects, drag the object using the position icon and drop it above the object you want to switch with.
Use the position icon only when switching places between objects. For simple repositioning, drag the object from anywhere within its boundary.
2.1: Object Alignment and Sizing
Alignment and size controls are available to help you arrange objects with precision. These controls appear in the context menu when you right-click an object.
If you double-click a chart item, the context menu will only show chart-specific options.
Use right-click to access alignment tools.
Note: The object alignment controls are not shown if the context menu is opened by double clicking on a chart item, in those cases only relevant chart items appears in the context menu.
3: Converting Objects Between Charts and Tables
You can quickly convert a chart to a table, or a table to a chart, using the Convert option in the context menu. This helps streamline your workflow when you need to change the display type of your data. Converting saves time as you don’t have to recreate the object from scratch.
3.1: Accessing the Convert Option
Right-click the chart or table to open the context menu, then select Convert to Table or Convert to Chart. A warning message will appear if any settings will be lost during the conversion.
3.2: What’s Lost During Conversion?
The following settings will be reset or disabled when converting between charts and tables:
Sorting settings: custom sorting (e.g., by value) will revert to default.
Benchmark calculations: these will be turned off.
Significance testing: this will also be turned off.
