Importing your data consists of two steps: Uploading your data and activating it. This page covers how to upload your data.
1: Uploading your data
Forsta Visualizations support different file types and during the process of uploading you'll have the possibility to adjust the content of the file (meta data transformation).
Get started by navigating to the data page:
Note: The data page is now accessible during scheduled data import and activation to track progress through logs. However, most features are disabled to prevent process issues and locks to be made for the processes running.
Your upload options are:
Select Import data file to upload an SPSS, Triple-S, Excel or CSV file.
Select Import data from Forsta to import data from Forsta Surveys or the Forsta HX Platform.
Select Import data from other source to upload data from an FTP server, a data connector or an integration.

Once the upload is successful, you can add the file to your existing project by activating the data. Once the data is active, it becomes visible on the dashboard. Learn how to activate your data: How to Activate Your Data?
