What Variable Types Are Accepted by Forsta Visualizations?

It is possible to import multi response questions, single response questions, open numeric questions and open string questions.

Examples:

Multi response question (multiple choice in Forsta Visualizations):

What did you have for breakfast?

• A sandwich

• A croissant

• Coffee

• Tea

• Water

• Other

Here a respondent can select multiple answers.

Single response question (single choice non scale in Forsta Visualizations):

What do you like most for breakfast?

• A sandwich

• A croissant

• Other

• Don't know

Here a respondent can select just one answer.

Single response question (single choice scale in Forsta Visualizations):

How much do you like a croissant for breakfast?

• I like it very much

• I like it a little

• I don't like it

Here a respondent can select just one answer.

Open numeric question:

How many croissants do you eat on average within a week?

Here a respondent can enter a number between 0 and sometimes a maximum limit.

Open string questions (open ended in Forsta Visualizations):

Can you tell us what you like about croissants?

Here a respondent can enter any text.
