The August 2025 release introduces major enhancements to StoryTeller, AI capabilities, and administration tools, along with usability improvements across the platform. These updates focus on delivering more flexibility, improved efficiency, and clearer insights for all users.

StoryTeller
Research Agent (Coming soon)
A new AI-powered Research Agent is being introduced as an in-dashboard assistant.
Functions include: Enhancing slide layouts,Generating executive summaries, and offering design recommendations. Access is available per project, initially for admins, and later for all user types (including Report Users). Users can try the functionality by contacting their Forsta representative to gain access.
StoryTeller UI
Refreshed UI design for smaller panels within reports.
Enable under Project settings → Beta settings → Use new StoryTeller setup layout.
No features added or removed, but layout and positioning have changed.
Enhancements include:
Element Tags: tags for each object.
Header & Footer: structured branding and navigation options.
Slide Management: import, resize, and reorder slides.
Report Layout Settings: panel layout, device filtering, navigation, and export formats
Summary Object
Can now analyze multiple open-ended questions at once, generating one consolidated summary.
AI context improved by including question text with responses, leading to more accurate results
Chart Tooltip – Respondent Count
Tooltips now display weighted or unweighted respondent counts.
Counts are customizable and translatable in the language file for localized reporting
Data Connectivity
Download Imported File
File download option now available directly in the task view (previously limited to legacy scheduled tasks).
Improves accessibility and usability for imported filesProject Administration
Color Template Update
Standard color template refreshed to align with modern design practices.
The new template replaces the old version by default.
Users can export customized templates for reuse across projects and preserve the legacy template by exporting it from an existing project and saving it as a custom template
