StoryTeller Enhancements
New Unified Filter Setup UI
Purpose: Consolidates all optional and hierarchical filter settings into one unified panel.
Access: Enable under Project settings → Beta settings → Use new StoryTeller setup layout.
Impact: No features were added or removed—only repositioned or visually updated
Key Panels Included:
Question filters: Enhanced toggle and dynamic filtering tools
Variable subsets: New multi-select support with clear labeling of default settings
Time periods: Includes granular control over dynamic and custom date ranges
Moving averages: Users can define various periods to average metrics
Time intervals: Customizable granularity (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
Hierarchical filter: Maintains structure while integrating into unified layout
Summary Object Enhancements
New Prompt: “Show the most mentioned topics” added to the Summary object.
Functionality: Displays the top topics from open text responses, regardless of sentiment.
Benefit: Offers a fuller picture by combining both positive and negative insights into one view
Categorical Questions as Additional Info
Functionality: Allows AI to generate more detailed summaries by incorporating background variables like age, gender, or brand familiarity.
UI Integration: New option in dropdown—“Summary with background variables”—unlocks an ‘Additional Variables’ tab.
User Workflow:
Choose categorical questions from the list.
Click Add to include them in the summary.
Output: Tailored summaries based on demographic segmentation alongside general summaries
Data Management
Support for DCM (Discrete Choice Model)
The option to download raw data for your Discrete Choice Model (DCM) test executed in Forsta Surveys (Decipher) and imported to Forsta Visualizations is now enabled. To export your data, enter “SPSS Export”, make sure to check the box “DCM” and add all other necessary information as you normally do within an export.
