Respondent tables can be exported to Excel or CSV. Excel is easier to use for many report users, but it has its limitations in the number of rows and columns that can be exported and the performance is much slower than csv. Once your project grows, Excel exports might become slower and slower. Forsta Visualizations recommends to use csv export in those projects.
Note: once you cancel the export, it still can happen that the operation to cancel it takes a while too.
Cancel can be done at specific "points" during the export process. If the cancel button is clicked after a certain process has begun, actual cancel will be done only after the process is finished. This is why cancellation can take a long time too (for example 5 minutes, but also depending on server load).
