In order to adjust the date format to the one required by the project when displaying date values (“yyyy-mm-dd”) the settings can be adjusted under custom date formats tab. This is important as your project or data can be for US, EU or some different region where specific date formats are used.
You can now create your own custom date formats to use throughout reporting. Manage and create formats under Project Settings - Layouts and Formats - Date formatting. All existing predefined formats are listed along with a new Custom option at the bottom of the lists.
Static words can be included within your date format.
Note: If any of the letters in your static text overlap with formatting characters, simply enclose the word in quotation marks ("").
